AdSense Niches

How would it feel to be paid a dollar or two every time someone clicked on a contextual ad link on a website you owned? It would feel wonderful, right? Well, this happens every day to hundreds of content publishers who are affiliates of Google’s AdSense affiliate program. As you can see in the screen capture shot below I am generating some passive income thanks my AdSense niches. It may not look like much, but these daily dollar amounts do add up and help with my monthly bills and expenses.

Warning – AdSense is not a quick rich program. 

Like all online businesses you aren’t going to make thousands of dollars overnight. You won’t make any money just by putting together a website and adding some AdSense code on it. Generating an income will require research, planning, content creation, ongoing management and a long term perspective. Effort is required, but it is easy, rewarding and far more enjoyable and satisfying than working a job .

You should really look at AdSense as a content publishing business. Content marketing, producing good quality original content that provides value and helps people solve problems or find solutions is becoming a web standard. Hence, your focus should be on creating quality content rather than trying to work out how much money you’ll make from AdSense placements, click through rates and so on.

Tips For Finding Adsense Niches

• Research, research and research. Success with AdSense is determined with research. I have mentioned in other posts that before you start building a website and creating content you need to research and prove that there is money in the niche. Research isn’t sexy or exciting, but it the most important business practice you should invest your time in.
• Produce quality content. We know that Google rewards quality. If you create a quality rich content site you’ll be rewarded with high search engine rankings
• Create an authority site. Have a long term goal to create 100 pages, with a minimum of 20 to 30 before you focus on generating an income from clicks from your ad placements
• Plan your work – work you plan. Have a plan for how and when you produce articles . Will you outsource your content writing? How many articles will you produce a week?
• Outsource work you don’t enjoy or work that you are not good at. You will need help to succeed and grow your business. You can’t do it all by yourself.
• Learn from your mistakes. If you invest in something and it doesn’t work take it as a valuable learning experience.
• Use the WordPress blogging platform to create your blog
• Be consistent – you need to add quality content to you AdSense site every week. In fact, you should try to do something everyday to improve the quality and ranking of your site.

Don’t know what to write about? Here are four lucrative AdSense niches that have high cost per clicks and high click through rates meaning more money for you. Find a sub-niche and start researching because you could potentially earn up to $10 a single click from a Google ad in any of these four niches. There would be lots of competition and you would have to do plenty of research to find out what keywords and phrases would generate these high earnings per click, but it is possible.

Financial Niche – debt and money are subjects that most people have concerns and issues with. Rarely will they seek advice from family and friends. They go to the Internet for information

Education Niche – People invest their future and a lot of time and money in their education. Going to university and college is a big decision. Naturally, people want to find out as much as they can about what and where they will study before making a decision.

Work From Home Niche – a lot of people want to do this , but don’t know anyone who is actually making a living online. To get started people will seek help and advice online.

Legal Niche – Divorce, disputes and legal problems are things people will rarely talk about. They will want to go to a professional for advice, but before they do that they will get online

When researching a niche you should try to keep in mind that you are after a niche in which most people would be unlikely to seek advice from friends and family. You want to create a content site in a niche where people specifically go to the search engines to get an answer to problems that they are uncomfortable about sharing with friends and family.
